We are one of the nearly 200 congregations that comprise the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts (www.diomass.org), which is part of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church that traces our origin back to our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are a diverse and radically inclusive community representing people from all walks of life and all areas of Martha’s Vineyard. No matter who you are or where you have come from on your faith journey, you will find yourself welcome here.
At Grace we take the promises we make at Baptism seriously, endeavoring always to “…strive for justice and peace among all people, and respecting the dignity of every human being.” Together, we endeavor as best we can to “…proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ.” (Book of Common Prayer, P. 305).
The ministry and mission of Grace Church, simply stated, is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ. I invite you on behalf of the congregation to explore the many and varied opportunities for ministry that you will find here. If you perceive an unmet need within the community or are experiencing a particular need within your own life, please make it known to me, one of the Wardens or a member of the vestry.
